I used to take photos all the time of my kids when they were little, with a point and shoot camera. With a DSLR its a whole new ball game and I am learning how to shoot people. I'm more used to things and scenery rather than a person.
These photos of my daughter Lily were taken outside on an overcast day. With my Sony a55 DSLR camera. 50mm Lens.
These photos are un-retouched. I'm not looking for perfect skin or anything like that, I'm looking to get sharp photos and practice my focusing on the eyes. And of course a natural pose.
